Five years ago, I released a limited edition artwork inspired by Ocean Colour Scene’s iconic Moseley Shoals album. The response was overwhelming, with every piece selling out in a single day, and it’s been one of the most rewarding projects of my career. Now, in celebration of the album’s 30th anniversary, I’m thrilled to share this special edition — 30 editions of a heartfelt tribute to a record that’s meant so much to me and countless others.
Each song has been carefully illustrated to capture its essence, following the album’s track order from start to finish. From the unforgettable energy of "The Riverboat Song" to the reflective beauty of "You’ve Got It Bad," I poured everything into making sure each piece mirrors the emotions and memories those songs evoke. Whether you’re drawn to the anthemic power of "The Day We Caught the Train" or the modernist soul of "The Circle," each illustration is an attempt to honour the brilliance of this album.
Moseley Shoals was one of the first albums that truly spoke to my soul, and getting to channel that connection into a series of artworks was so rewarding.
I spent weeks perfecting each panel, ensuring that every line, every colour, every tiny detail aligns with the unique feeling that Ocean Colour Scene’s music still gives me today.
